The business is run, and the food cooked by, Sally Hickmott. A fully trained catering professional with many years experience in Restaurants and Country House Hotels who still (despite all that cooking) likes to eat out anywhere from Michelin starred restaurants to some of our very good local hostelries.
Whilst retaining popular dishes the menus are updated throughout the year to reflect the availability of seasonal, interesting and innovative ingredients, so that the food, all home made, reflects current trends. We're happy to make your favourite recipe if you'd like it included on your special day.
The menu is chosen by you... so it can easily be tailored to your own preferences and event.
Flexibility is a key element of the business - there are no fixed menus.
The opportunity to create unusual menus is welcomed and Gorgeous Grub has, in particular, developed ideas for Vegetarian and Vegan events and is happy to accommodate most special dietary needs including Coeliacs, Dairy Allergics and Egg Allergic Clients.
The business operates mainly in the private sector catering for parties in clients own homes (or hired venues/marquees) and for numbers from 6 upwards. Such events include Anniversaries, Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings and Wakes. To meet the needs of our clients we offer a range of food from Gourmet Dinner Parties, Canapes, Finger Buffets, Fork Buffets (hot and cold) and, where required, simpler menus for delivery only.
Mostly, we'd like you, the Client, to relax and enjoy yourself.
